Morton College Tutoring Center

Starting January 2018, the Individual Learning Center has been renamed the Tutoring Center and has moved to a new, larger and easier to find location (Room 201C).

Tutoring hours are unchanged:

Mon-Thu 8:30 am - 7:00 pm

Fri           8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Appointments are recommended but walk-ins are welcome if a tutor is available.  If you are planning a visit to the ILC from off campus, it is suggested that you call first to see if a tutor is available.

Makeup testing will now take place in Room 207B (take the stairs to the second floor of the library and turn left at the top of the stairs).  Hours for makeup testing have changed.

Mon-Thu  9:00 am - 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Fri            9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Pearson MyLab (MyMathLab and MyStatLab)

Do homework online, watch videos, and take advantage of other helpful capabilities.  Check your Course Syllabus to see if MyMathLab or MyStatLab is available in your course and what capabilities are offered.   NOTE:  Many courses now require MyMathLab or MyStatLab.

Khan Academy What started out as Sal Khan making a few algebra videos for his cousins has grown to over 2100 videos and 100 self-paced assessments on math topics from basic arithmetic to differential equations, as well as topics in science, finance and history.  This free site has been featured on NBC News and PBS, and it has also gained the attention of Bill Gates.
